Doesn't matter if it's a cat or a dog, an animals love is unconditional. That's a beautiful thing. And it's very obvious that you did what you could; at some point, you're throwing money at prolonged suffering. You've made the right call.

I could pull the plug on someone on life support easier than putting down a pet. It's the fucking worst. I can't get another pet now its too sad when the end comes. A local cat and I have a cool morning routine going where it visits me after my morning run and that does me now.
