I did this for 5 weeks.
I was putting 8+ hours into writing and editing for 200 views and it wasn't worth the time or effort. Sure, successful youtube channels take more than 5 weeks to get off the ground but fuck that shit. Lots of work for zero reward, aside from all your downvotes. That was cool. Can't break character though, right, so it's all awful. But man, those Beige Frequency videos right? You're all so phony and transparent.
