I remember when Roe Vs Wade was overturned the news programs were showing the protesters and they kept focusing on a sign that said “safe and legal abortions for all genders” with the pride flag colors. It was surreal, a very “how did we get here?” Moment. I work for a major global company and they encourage use to put our pronouns on our email signature. Luckily not everyone does it but I wonder how long it will be until it’s mandatory to put it.

The whole pronouns thing is so bizarre to me.

99.9% of the time it’s obvious they’re a he or a she. I don’t need reminding. I guess they’re ‘showing solidarity’ or whatever, fair enough. But what’s their end goal, to have every fucking person state pronouns because >0.01% of the worlds population are autistic weirdos? It’s pathetic. I’m surprised Patrick hasn’t started doing it.

What’s funny is since I work for a global I have to speak to people in various countries and they don’t do the whole he / she thing because it’s truly a “first world” problem of proper pronouns. But companies have to show they’re an Ally and just accept whatever nonsense is being shoved down their throat,

It's even worse in entertainment. Comic books and video games are constantly pressured to depict women as boxy, flat chested and masculine; completely devoid of femininity or sexuality. Anytime an artist or designer depicts a woman with anything over a B cup or anything resembling hips, they're called out for "the male gaze".

But we all know that's not what it is. It's really about stepping on eggshells as not to offend the trannies by reminding them of what they will never have, never look like, and never be.

Here's an observation to point out to your coworkers -- this is anecdotal to me but everyone I've said it to agrees:

Any email you get that has pronouns in their signature is from someone whose pronouns match their biological sex.

I've asked and everyone 100% says that this is their experience too.

Is this the same for you? I'm sure it is. Eventually we'll find someone who says they actually know someone who puts zhe/zher. But that further proves the point that we're making shit up to appease .0000001% of the population, and that this shit is not at all about fairness and equality in any way.
