Best bet (other than shoot) is to run. Create distance. Any time you’re within an arms length youre highly disadvantaged. Fists vs knife is almost always a losing battle. All you can do is hope you can control the one hand holding the knife (and if you watch the video op posted you see how easily the attacker just switches the blade to the other hand) or hope they drop it and you can grab it. I didn't get stabbed in a bad spot but I didn't realize it happened until I was walking to my truck and noticed I was leaving a bunch of blood everywhere. I also broke my hand at the same time and that hurt instantly so I was more focused on that. I knew it was a knife, but it just feels like getting hit or poked with something blunt. Your skin literally makes a pop noise like a sausage casing though if you notice it happening. Its gross.

I've also had a job where I'd get stabbed and cut with broken glass all the time and I had to have them stitched up a few times and then they superglued it one time and that's all I ever did from there on. Superglue rules.
