He's always an aggressive, abrasive asshole. "you will allow me that courtesy", "I insist you show me" - he refuses to say "please". He thinks he has authority over everyone.
He could have easily said, "Ms. Jones, I sincerely apologize for what the people who troll me are doing to you today, etc. etc. etc.," but he won't do that because that means taking accountability for his role in all of this. He spends every single day and night being abusive, starting fights, and making enemies on social media, and is incapable of taking responsibility for his role in people biting back at him. He'll never learn.
