One thing that saddens me its that future generations (im taking after 50 years at least) wont be able to understand how bizarre Donald Trump becoming president was. They will read about it in Wikipedia 3.0 as this racist turbo Hitler who preyed on white people being evil/stupid and yes, he used to be in entertainment but no different as Reagan, St Zelenszky and other politicians being actors.

I'm aware im kinda stealing Shane Gillis' bit here but I just wish that people from both sides could appreciate how ridiculous, and yes, by extension, funny, was having this campy character come out of left field, started insulting everyone, doubling down in crazier antics and ended up becoming president against his will; because of all conspiracy theories about Trump the one that I remain convinced is 100% truth is that he had no intention of actually running for president. This was an Apprentice contract renegotiating tactic that went awry. The outcome was almost... tomlinsonesque

He's mentioned the possibility of running for President one day many times over the decades. He really got serious about it during Obama's presidency because he knew Obama (and the entities which control him) was destroying the U.S. and they would absolutely try to force Hillary in there to finish the job. He spoke about this in many interviews and radio shows. He knew he was the only person who could beat Hillary, and he was correct.

I tried to explain this to my wife when he first became president. She's both a foreigner and also too young anyway but I couldn't stress enough how fucking INSANE it is that Donald Trump became the most powerful man in the world. That guy who was at Wrestlemania 4 was now the most powerful man in the world. The guy who was on O&A and then later called them a couple of bums was now the most powerful man in the world.

I actually believe the theory that Obama making fun of him was the entire reason he did it. He probably expected to lose and then springboard off it to start his own TV network but I am sure he had no intention of being president until he suddenly was.
