Patrick goes out of his way to spill the beans to people that let him spin his yarn. Patrick was just on a podcast where he said " I don't want to divulge my legal strategy" and then the host asks another question about it and he tells the host his legal strategy of he won't be paying anything and will tell his side of the story that is "the only side." I hate kiwifaggots as much as the next nonbinary individual but I think this guy might be telling the truth.

SFWA can rally in the sense that they can xeet or email a link to his GoFundMe, but I highly doubt they're putting anything more out of their coffers.
What I don't understand is why he'd delay the crowdfunding 2 damn years, let interests accrues, pile up more costs, fines. How shameless can a pig be to e-beg $60k when the principal was ~$34k iirc?
then again, SFWA cat ladies gave $5k to Ekpeki as a prize for ignoring his visa conditions and immigration law, seems like the more stupid you are the more worthy of charity these people deem you.

This might've worked years ago when the debt came down, if he'd begged. Now he's alienated basically everybody and isn't gaining any new fans, at least not people that are interested in all this shit. The only new followers are people who click Like on anything liberal politics.

I was working on an exposé that would make the SFWA (rightfully) look terrible to its woke constituents, but mothballed it because they appeared to be trying to get out of the pig advocacy business, and my RL got really hectic for several reasons (why I've been scarce around here lately).
If there's any sign that the SFWA is going to help crybully again, let me know. I'll resume working on it. Might be a dud, or it might torpedo (emphasis not on pedo, for once) the leadership using only verifiable facts about their incomes--they'd still call it defamatory, though, of course, because they have personal and collective victim complexes.
