I can't say I feel exceptionally sad or angry or really any emotion from the news of his death other than "ah, that sucks". Not to seem cold or callous or anything; more just from the part where it isn't really surprising that a one legged obese diabetes having man living in squalor finally past.
He was still pretty funny on the show, and one of the only regulars who was actually good at getting one liners off as opposed to the Steve from Bayshores or Twitchels. Him turning down that woman who was into him because she was "too old" at 45 (two years older than him) when he was living in poverty with one leg is equal parts infuriatingly oblivious and genuine alpha behavior.
