Like I said in the other thread, because despite hating Opies guts he knows Opie is the key to any sort of relevance. So even though he gets on better with Jim, he knows “The Anthony and Jim show” wouldn’t have paid his Compound mortgage. Bitter poor fag.

In the early days of Compound The Anthony & Jim show absolutely would've paid the bills. Anthony was still funny at the time, was trying to do an O&A style show with his own personal spin on it, had all the old O&A comics turning up to do The Anthony Cumia show and the network had a lot of familiar faces that people at the time wanted to hear from. The addition of Jimmy would've been big and pushed even more revenue, not as much as Opie & Anthony being on Compound together but still big.

Compound wasn't a bad idea at all, it became one because Anthony is mentally ill, a bad decisionmaker and not someone that could operate and grow a business to a proper level either creatively or non creatively. Bro had an idea that if done properly could've netted him tens of millions of dollars but instead cost him money.

It's hard to believe how he fucked it up so bad. He had Legion of Skanks, ButtPlug McInnes, hell he even had Mike David himself, who would have been a much better guide on the whole thing than Keith the Cop.
