My OP was ironic because there really is so much shit that makes him look guilty - and sometimes thats really all you need. He’s an avid golfer but on the one day his wife goes missing he goes fishing…and tells all his friends later that he went golfing. The DNA found on the pliers. Scott said he left home at around 9:30 and the dog wasn’t found until 10:14-10:30, essentially giving Laci an hour to independently disappear or for Scott to murder her. You have the spot the investigators didn’t check in the warehouse because “the power was out”, even though Scott claimed to have been sending emails from there the same day. You have the entire affair and the fact he told his mistress that his wife was missing a month before it actually happened. You have his constant lying and smug asshole face saying he told Laci of the affair before she went missing, or that he told his mistress he had a wife from the start. Or that his families bodys wash up at the same place he went fishing (albeit months later.)

20 years and not a single appeal that was worthwhile. Guys guilty as sin.

Do you really believe retard Scott is that good of a crime scene cleaner? No crime scene anywhere on the property where he murdered Laci, no evidence in the truck, no evidence on the boat. Do i acknowledge there are holes? Of course. There are holes in every crime and no one is going to have a perfect recreation of how someone did it. The only burden the state needs to meet is beyond a reasonable doubt. This also does NOT mean they have to reason that Scott is the only person who could do it, only the most likely.

I’ll use another murder as an example. Guy named Christian Halderson murdered his parents. Found guilty and sent to prison. The prosecution argued that there was no way to rule out anybody else could have committed the crime, but through the evidence presented it was ruled that the most likely culprit was him. The evidence was that he had lied about his education and career to his parents for years and only a day after his dad found out the lies were they murdered. No evidence of an actual murder was found in the house beyond a fragment of skull near the fireplace. No blood, no tools, no DNA in the home. However, through video cameras in the neighborhood they determined all through the night his parents “left town” the fireplace could be seen going up and down, the garage light was being turned on and off, and he was seen buying ice at a grocery store - later used to chill his parents body parts. He was geolocated through Snapchat and when police searched the area they found the bodies.

Basically long shory stort is that there doesn’t have to be this perfect 1080p video of the full crime to convict someone.

I think he probably did it but death penalty based purely on circumstantial evidence is a bit much
