We don't hate Voat, we came to the understanding Voat, Saidit, Ieddit, etc. refused to let us stay, and even crashed multiple times due to our retention. Our terminally online White Nigger community proved too active for their servers.
The only way to do this is find a host you can pay in crypto, that has DDOS protection. If you can't find that you need to find another person willing to put their name on the account & host.
The version of voat I linked to is the new voat run by different admins. The previous admin shut down the original voat on Christmas.
Everyone's free to post there. The problem was the regular user base didn't get the bit and would downvote posts. If one wants to post in those subs and avoid downvotes, they'd need to click "Exclude from All" before hitting Submit so that only people in that sub will see the post. This is obviously an obnoxious workaround and makes the subs basically unusable. But at least they exist on a so-called 'free speech' platform.
A dedicated site is the only way to go really.
