Him "screening new follows" is either a whopper of a lie or deeply pathetic. He's claiming that he vets every single person who follows him and if he doesn't like their tweets (or something), he... blocks them? Deranged behavior if true, maybe more deranged if he's lying about it.

I'm guessing he got the vast majority of his followers in a short period of time after the viral abortion tweet. There's no way he screened all of those, and he wouldn't have had much reason to back then. Big fat dumb fatty
Calling it now, in the coming weeks he will face heavy losses and insist so many bots follow his account because the algorithms decided he was a core node in the Twitter zeitgeist. You would have a hard time convincing him this tweet existed and that you don't face prison for pointing out his stupidity.
