You hit on something there. My wife and I make more money than either one of us saw as a kid and there are fucking 2 of us working together and combining resources. I try not to spoil my kids. I try not to waste money on dumb shit for my wife or myself. But it satisfies some basic urge in my brain. What if I didn't have a wife and kids to do that for?
