Yuo. He had to turn himself in by the end of the day or a warrant for his arrest would be issued. He probably had his license suspended from a previous charge because usually they wont throw you in jail for your first driving on suspended. Ive known people that had 3/4/5 of them before they really start to get into shit for it. (Every state is different though).
