5 weeks but Pat tries to one up him with two months even though it’s not much longer. As someone who worked in both auto sales and finance for years if you don’t even make it 3 months it means YOU SUCK at selling cars. Most senior sales guys won’t even bother to learn your name until you’ve been there at least 3 months because of the high turnover. Pat actually sold so few cars he was in “draw” where YOU actually owe the dealership money because you can’t sell. But of course Pat claims the dealership screwed him on commission so he quit that dealership and never sold cars again instead of going to a different dealership.
