I pointed a funny sign out to my ex's five year old one time and was like "did you see what it said?" and she was like "nah, I can't even read." It made me laugh hard. I don't know if it was because I just didn't consider the fact that this little kid hasn't learned how to read yet or the fact that no matter how old they are, hearing someone casually say they can't read like it's no big deal is just funny.
