Unknown comic Ray Devito had his number given out and said redditors have been texting him dick pics all day.
I was waiting in line to pay for gas in California once, and there was an old lady in front of me in the line. She was basically telling her entire life story to the dude working at the gas station. She was dressed like a complete whore - picture Sandy Kane and you have the general idea.
She was telling the gas station cashier that she used to be in movies and TV shows and that she was working on getting back on the big screen.
If this had happened in Chicago or Phoenix, I'd assume she was full of shit. But there was something about her story that seemed kinda plausible.
If true, this was basically a former actress who was in her 60s or even 70s who was delusional enough to think she'd get back in the movies "any day now." She was clearly out of her mind and more than likely a homeless prostitute.
There's been a handful of legitimately famous people who admitted to living lives like this, such as Shelly Duvall from "The Shining", and I think it's probably more widespread than people realize. People have a habit of getting set in their ways, and if you spent your 20s doing TV shows, you might just spend the rest of your life trying to make that happen again. Just ask Corey Feldman.
I think Corey’s difficulties came from the CSA and neglect he suffered. I don’t believe there should be laws against child performers in films etc., but I’d be happy if choosing that for your child became widely seen as about as wise as signing them up to be Samuel Delany’s “personal assistant.”

That's a perfect example. She's the type of Z-List celebrity who could make a living by showing up to sign autographs at comic conventions if she lived out in Phoenix or Vegas. But she won't pull down enough money to make it work in L.A., it's just too expensive.

You don't know who KC Armstrong is? Dude is a legend. He got non stop pussy all throughout his stern years and even when he left he still got pussy as told by the stories from Johnny Fratto since KC was lived with his son. He was legit crazy though. He wrote some standup cuz he wanted to be part of Arties road shows and his shit was dark. Like pedo dark but hilarious. It was worse than the Club Soda Kenny pedo jokes. Him winning like 300k gambling which would have solved all his issues but then losing it all in a week. So many great KC bits.
KC Armstrong's highlights on the Stern show could be a 100 hour documentary. Hell maybe 1,000 hours.

To be fair to Keith, CM actually had shows and personalities that drew and could have or would have gone on to draw way more. Post O&A Anthony, Legion of Skanks, some ex Fox News people, etc. There was a brief period of time where Ronnie B almost joined. The concept had legs and the support was there in the beginning.
Then they made a few catastrophic decisions like putting it behind a paywall, hiring Artie Lange (whose nose was already falling off at that point), and building it off of Anthony, a drunk who desperately needs the cash and is afraid to make hard decisions.
I can't imagine how awful it must have been to have Anthony as a partner, especially as a retired cop with a full pension. Siphoning money out of CM and Anthony to buy a boat was easily the best and most productive use of that cash.
