Thats what happens when you go to a state and region you know nothing about and find any contractor from google and tell him to build your house, and you never supervise it and stay up in NY while it’s built for you. That contractor was sitting at home laughing thinking of how he played Nana while a bunch of Hondurans slapped together his home for 6$ an hour and a couple coronas.

Not supervise like you are a worker on site everyday. More like actually being in the state and town its being built. Checking in on the build as it goes and having face to face interactions with the foreman/contractor on a weekly basis. His home took way too long to be built. Its not even that big. Its no secret that he got scammed by a shady home builder. Him being in NY made it that much easier to get milked for thousands more than necessary.
