I wasn’t on the building side of construction but on the demolition side. So my first construction job I was removing drywall, encapsulating with paint, sanding metal framing, then the actual prep work before the job and cleaning after the job.

Then I did tile for a while.

Now i’m on the other side of the fence essentially inspecting these jobs to make sure they’re good to go

If this guy is typical, he likely came to town, gave some shady realtor 10 grand and started slapping together shanty houses for out of town idiots. He got 2 half assed houses done, poured 4 foundations and took 10 deposits on top of that. Once the first hint of lawsuits popped up he painted his truck, stopped paying rent and moved all of his cash to Florida.
