You actually had expectations for it?I thought Pop Star was so disappointing when it came out. HotRod was so much better.
Oddly enough, same here. Watched it last fall, I think. And I think you've got a point about Dune. Fuck.I watched this for the first time last year and I didn't expect it to be as funny as it was. Besides the ending. I got pissy eyed at that.
No that's what was so disappointing about it.You actually had expectations for it?
I felt the same, it didn't do much for me. Maybe I'll rewatch it, I haven't seen it since it came out. Hot Rod rules. I heard that quoted in my high school more than anything besides maybe Borat and Grandma's Boy. Sure dated myself there. No that's what was so disappointing about it.

Pedał!I hate Burt, but I'm open to watching it.
It's different than anything else coming out, and if he takes the piss out of himself, then ok. He was Van Wilder, after all.

Grandma’s Boy is the funniest movie ever made. DRIVE MONKEY DRIVE!I felt the same, it didn't do much for me. Maybe I'll rewatch it, I haven't seen it since it came out. Hot Rod rules. I heard that quoted in my high school more than anything besides maybe Borat and Grandma's Boy. Sure dated myself there.
WWAWD Häxan? Swedish but still give me the creeps watching it.Nosferatu is still unnerving. Fucking Germans and the expressionism era, this and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari really have no equal. Though I do love Lugosi...
You couldn't threaten my life to watch Gummo. Not my bag.
Omega Man just isn't as fun as Vincent Price in The Last Man on Earth. That campy fey voice fighting vampire zombies... That's what Heston and Smith failed to replicate.
The first Apes is a science fiction classic of the strongest recommendation, but you lose me at the sequel. All of them, even the first one, just don't feel needed in any way, and add nothing in the end. I actually don't even really like the new ones, though I know they're well made. Just feels like... Treading water? The first one really said it all.
