He sort of mentions it at the end, but an actual CarGuy™ tip is to just buy new lugnuts and replace all of the locking ones that you need a stupid special tool to remove. Do it ASAP. Then you will only need a normal socket to change your tire in an emergency. Plus sometimes the locking part wears over time and the special adapter thing doesn't even work anymore. If you own a super expensive set of tires/rims or live in a ghetto like Pat, by all means do whatever you want to make sure they're not stolen, but for any daily driver the locking nuts are retarded. Also if an absolute cretin like JoeBerg knows that you can still remove the locking nuts with a socket and a hammer, any thief would too. Fuck locking nuts.
