Edit: Nas wasn’t even old enough to drink when he made that album and instead of doing the right thing and giving him his publishing, Serch stole most of the money from that album for two decades until he sold it to someone else. “Yeah, I sampled ya voice, you were using it wrong. You seem to be down with the hip hop, as am I being a zoomer. There is nothing more pathetic than this fat jew. At least the jews behind most rappers (like the guy who ran NWA) are behind the scenes and about the business. Serch could have easily just done that but he had to be the street guy too and it’s fucking humiliating. Saying Serch made Nas is like saying Jay Z made Kanye West. I mean technically? But without Nas being Nas or Kanye being Kanye Serch / Jay Z wouldn’t have picked these guys up.

Serch didn’t make Nas but he paid for the album. He’s legendary and the album would have eventually came out regardless. It actually used to cost a lot of money to record an album back then. Not sure what you mean by the Kanye/Jay-z thing because Kanye made the beats for a lot of Jay’s early great songs. That was a very mutual thing. Serch took advantage of a 19 year old from the hood with a dream. Nas’s first appearance was on a Serch track too which is weird. Again, Serch bought his way into hip hop and far overstayed his welcome.


And my bad, Nas was 21 when Illmatic came out. Not sure why I thought he was a few years younger. I’m not really in the wigger business anymore, *sniff*
