I have visited a car lot and a junk yard but somehow did not obtain expert car knowledge via osmosis from these locations. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Please advise.

I paid 3000 for my first car in 2002 and it was a 1993 Toyota Celica with over 100k miles. I don’t know why this guy is thinking in 2024 that will get him.
