Listened to “On the Road” audiobook on YouTube

I have never read much Kerouac, but based upon your recommendation I might give it a shot. Was it Kerouac or Hunter S Thompson who wrote a book about hanging out with the Hell's Angels?

At the moment I’m finishing up For Whom the Bell Tolls. Great fawkin book, if ya ask me.

Dharma Bums is his best work. Big Sur is entertaining as well. I think both are better than On the Road.

Definitely read Iceberg Slim's "Pimp". Nicholas Pilleggi's books are almost better than the movies based on them as well ( Wiseguy / Goodfellas, Casino etc).

As if. They were bikers and cishet white guys, dude. I bet even the craziest Hell’s Angel had never even seen anything like a sci-fi “con.” I hear things get crazy at those places.
