So I have hours of afternoon meetings, then eat dinner, and come back to a fucking 10-page thread.
And I read the entire thing.
Quick question: The people on this board have put up screenshots found from reddit and other places of contact forms. Why wouldn't he just point her to one of those and then apologize to her for having to go through this?
Because he's not normal. He always has to win, in his head.
I think this is why Ade hurts so much. He lost. He lost his wife and so he decided to abandon his daughter because it put him in complete control -- ie, abandoning his daughter means he "wins".
This exchange is a fascinating look into his psyche. For years I wondered why, when people stood up for him, he would never warn them. Now I see the other side. He's so megalomaniacal that he simply cannot imagine what other people feel like ever.

Leslie has Patrick's situation pegged in an afternoon. And after 5 years, Patrick's 1.78 brain still can't do the math (just like his senior in HS)- if he changes his phone number, sets his social media to private, Patposting is dead by July/August. It's that simple, but that would be "letting the idiots" win, so he forges headlong into the 5th year of Norm/11. A full half a fucking decade. When Patposting started, the kids starting their freshman year in college/university this Fall, were in 8th fucking grade.
