I remember having to explain the entire incident to my cousin that Thanksgiving, because he hadn't even heard a single thing about it. These days, politicians would be commenting on it.I can't believe I totally missed the letterman apology. That was fucking awesome. Holy shit society has come a long way from 2006. Irony is truly dead. Nowadays that apology would be more outrageous than the incident. Everyone involved would be crucified, even the audience.
