Even at its worst all you can say is that it's "less good" rather than bad. Peggy and Luanne episodes are a bit like Marge and Lisa ones. You find good stuff if you endure them, but much more so than Simpsons.

Bobby Hill is probably the best character in a cartoon I've seen. Better than almost any live tv show too.

Gin Blossoms are the *2nd* best thing to come out of Tempe :) Both are in town for me late next month. (And Ex-RCPM guitarist Scotty Johnson is now with back with the Gin Blossoms)
