That's my point. That means you have no savings and no investments. You keep you money under the mattress. How do you not understand this?
Okay so if you define it as something different I'm doing it. Good one. When I take money to lend to people I don't charge interest. If you say I'm lending my bank money if I have savings I'll counter that they're lending that money at much higher rates of interest and giving me fuck all. That's not what we're talking about in the context of Jews lending money to kings in the medieval period.
I thought you were Italian. I don't lend money, whenever someone asks, that's it, we're done. But now that you mention it I should charge interest.
If somebody asks to borrow money I either say no or I give a reasonable fraction of what they ask with no expectation of repayment. I'd rather not worry about chasing friends or family down over it.

I'm not defining it as something different, you are. Usury is charging interest, "regardless of how I get it." (Your definition.) You are charging interest, and it's not a technicality. You simply don't understand your church's position on it if that's how you define it (which has changed over time...how orthodox). You actively participate in the same system as those evil "kikes" that you are so morally superior to.

There's a massive difference in intention. "Dealing with banks is participating in usury." okay. So it's also engaging in money laundering and every other shifty thing banks do. You engage in child slave labour because you don't ethically source all your consumer goods.

No. You are directly charging interest from the bank (usury by your definition), not simply supporting an unethical business.

I don't agree with your definition. I consider usury taking advantage of someone in need. You (smugly) said it's just charging interest "regardless of how I get it," and you don't participate.

I took issue with your smugness. Nobody charges interest to friends and family and everyone participates in the banking system. It's not something to mention let alone be proud of. And now I regret bringing it up, because I'm very much sick of tapping on my phone.

Maybe I'm just being contrary for it's own sake. I don't know.

Doubt anyone cares about this except @PogromStallone but I just found out they edited Book of Mormon to make it less racist back in 2021.

> Rather than using a typewriter, the character Nabalungi uses an iPad and the joke isn't about her inability to use a typewriter, but rather about FaceBook and misinformation.

> Lines considered racist have been changed, ("hot shade of black." "the Chinese are the real problem," lots of "I Am Africa" has been changed to be more satirical and show the African's discontent.)

> Inclusiveness of other characters so it isn't a white savior narrative. (Nabalungi fighting off the General at the end, the story is more about how inclusiveness leads to a better life.)

> Villagers are shown to be less stereotypical, and are shown to be smarter, with more fleshed out characters.

> There were also quite a few staging changes, with the disco ball and the props used during some scenes, most notably during "Man Up" and "You and Me (But Mostly Me)."

> Multiple line changes were made, like Mafala Hatimbi saying "Stay the fuck away from them" to Nabalungi before greeting the Mormons.

That really depressed me. I know South Park isn't as edgy as it used to be, but I still thought the South Park guys wouldn't change shit like that. It's just all fucking gay.

It wasn't just them. It was also the actors.

Yeah, it made me lose a lot of respect for Stone and Parker when that went down. If I remember correctly, a cast member had complained that the show was racist and that started the whole thing.

It was an open letter by like 20 actors. The producer of the show is a woman, so that's who is to blame. Matt and Trey do not oversee day-to-operation of the production at this point in time. They just rubber stamp shit.
That came later, it started with an actress talking about how the show was racist. Matt and Trey don't have to oversee what happens daily to veto something.
