He wants to be front and center, and he wants to be recognized as "the talented one", like he was when he was young. He doesn't want to collaborate, or create, or even really entertain. He wants to impress everyone with his amazing guitar wizardry, and that's it. Just like his brother, there's that deeply disingenuous aspect to everything he does and, just like his brother, everyone finds him abrasive and off-putting, which is why he doesn't have a single friend in his local music scene. He doesn't jam with people just for fun, he doesn't even go to live shows to check out other musicians. He just wants to play rock star, and it's the only aspect of it he cares about.
