What was he doing? He wasn’t acting. Kind of weird but it’s impressive that even though they hated each other they could do the first hour and a half by themselves.

I distinctly remember him saying he enjoyed just listening Opie and Ant do the first hour. This was probably in 2013 or 2014 on his stupid advice show.

Granted, towards the end it was usually the only listenable part of the show unless Opie brought up his family escapades (which Ant hated) or Ant tried to talk about politics (which Opie hated), but Jim regularly just sitting there silent was weird.

His sports show with Artie was amazing. Until Artie blew the entire thing up of course. The most hilarious part of that was that Artie showed up high on heroin, made threats against female reporters, and stopped the show once to urinate in a trashbin live on air. And Nick ended up getting fired over it. Not Artie.

If society was normal then someone like Nick would be a top tier show hosts or sports radio host. But with the sickness of this world even a boomer moron like him cannot sit around and pretend like this society is normal. It would be impossible for someone like Nick to work for ESPN and not talk about transgender men playing in women's sports. Or having to not cover some nigger NFL player going on a rape or dog fighting spree because of political correctness. He would last about one month before being fired.

Talk radio like O&A you can say a lot of stuff and corporate will not go ballistic. But political or sports talk usually gets you fired instantly if you say the "wrong" thing once. You are expected to tow the line at all times. Like ripping on athletes for beating their wives or doing steroids. Or talking about wearing pink gear for breast cancer awareness is for faggots. Nick would call the first male cheerleader a "goo gobbler" and be fired in a second. Guys like Burr or Florentine know how to sell out and use corporate speak. Nick might be a dimwit boomer dolt and MIGA-tard but he has no filter at all.

I've been watching old clips towards the end of the show, and noticed a couple of things:

1) Anthony was legitimately helping out Opie a LOT. Not just the fact that Ant was funny, but Ant was also making an effort to keep Opie from embarassing himself. It's odd that Opie hates Ant so much, when it was Ant who was basically preventing Opie from becoming the butt of all jokes.

2) There's a great clip on Joe Rogan where Rogan shits all over Jim Norton because Norton can't stop playing with his phone. Norton always uses his sex addiction as the source of jokes, but it's a way bigger problem than he'll admit. He would show up to work and was completely out-of-it because he'd spent all night edging to porn, and when he did promotional appearances he couldn't go five minutes without checking Grindr. Just wildly unprofessional behavior, but somehow he kept his job because he learned not to say naughty words anymore.

Nick was all over Comedy Central in the early 2000’s and now he can’t even get on tv. He was objectively pretty good looking and very funny. Very bizarre world because he’s talented, he even had that show on Sirius in like 2015 before getting fired for tweeting something retarded. Nick missed his calling as a liberal comic.
