I hate the grocery store checkout donation prompts, they use to say what charity it was, now at check out it says generic shit like homelessness or just hunger. I might as well give it to a bum directly, not that I am gonna donate.

I refuse to give to any checkout charity. Was just at the store using a self-checkout and the kid monitoring that section walked up to me and asked me if I wanted to buy a card pre-printed with a dollar amount for some charity. Told him no, I’m not adding to their tax write off. That’s all it is, a huge corporate write off. And they can boast “X company donated $XX million to charity this year.”

Official charities are scams anyhow. I’d rather give a $20 to a Nigga on the street for his booze, crack, fent than some dumb broad CEO.
