I'll just speak generally. I can only moderate speech to the best of my abilitly. People have some grand ideas , but I need to know practically how that would work. How can I tell a joke, satirical post from something serious. As far as I can tell Jenna's solution is you can never joke about murder? But what does that even entail? Id like to see that played out in a proof of concept somewhere.
People wont believe this, but ill say it anyway. Im entirely open to suggestions on what to do differently. The issue is that I don't have any reasons to think those suggestions will work without a proof of concept, as i mentioned. I'm willing to listen to all your retarded suggestions, but why would I give them any weight without some type of evidence?
By proof of concept i mean a real functioning board with these requirements.
A Single admin and moderator. This is how I'm running things as everyone (Podcasters not included) are anonymous. I don't know any of you and I don't trust any of you with any responsibility by design.
A similar user base of kratom junkies, boomers etc. Cumtowns users would be close enough for comparison.
Not a buisness or actual job. So that's mr moons empire excluded.
Partially open registrations and public facing posts.
I realize the "single admin and mod" requirement is basically me setting up a cherry picked scenario that can't be achieved. I'm willing to see a proof of concept that could be implemented successfully.
If cumtowns moderation could be applied just by me, then I'm willing to use that as a template. I don't follow their drama , but haven't they been through several admins and they had to find a backup becuase he went nuts or something?

Jesus christ is that analogy dumb. I’ll just ignore it and get to the point you’re making beyond the logical fallacies. Yes, it is my opinion. But the opinion is based on some sort of legal basis. We’ve gone over why I don’t think its a threat so theres no point reiterating it. But you are aware that “threats” aren’t some black and white thing, right? There are so many contexts going on here:
Posters may live in a country where their speech is protected, true threat standard, we’re posting online, on a comedy forum, the “threat” was made to another user, the language of the threat, the actual intention of the threat, the occurrences of it which would enforce it’s seriousness etc etc.
All of these things do make it a gray area where ANYONE can weigh in on it and determine if it’s an actual threat or not, especially the Admin of this forum. Which is literally, again, saying on page 2. He asked you for evidence that would determine what made you believe Nobacon was a threat to you which, again, would enforce the intent of it. Because you, the person threatened, are also literally the only deciding factor on if you feel threatened or not. Ah fuck it I ran out of steam.
I’m not even gonna waste my time on it. It’s so fucking dumb. You are utterly incapable of making similar comparisons between two things.

Jenna says no one should make threats about murder (already banned) which is why Nobacons post should be removed. The reason we are all failing to understand is because everyone sees that it is a joke. No one besides Jenna saw that and thought he was serious, and even I don’t think Jenna is. Nobacon is crazy but he’s a kill himself crazy, not murderer crazy. The language , we’re on a comedy forum, it’s to another user, etc etc…all of this creates the context that it is, presumably, a joke.
So then the conclusion really is what you said in the former paragraph…do you ban all jokes about threats of bad things? Because beyond how you would even determine whats ban-able or not everyone would be walking on Gibshells or just be pissed. Because no doubt in the 1 serious threats being banned there’d be the 50 jokes just getting thrown under the bus. And the 1 serious threats are already getting banned. So whats changing?
And again…What is the purpose of this? I get covering your ass but I truly don’t see this threat being proposed where Cloudflare or Jackie / Pat suddenly go “See? Look at Nobacon threatening Jenna. TAKE THEM DOWN”

To be clear miss, Boomia never said that, be did wish for some unfortunate things to occur. I believe Jenna is claiming NoBacon is saying violent things and will now act out and hurt gays (like you) at a pride parade or something. The big difference here is that 90% of the forum have wished bad events on one another and none of us are positively identified. Could some people be radicalized by a web forum? I suppose they could, but free speech is protected and not a single person here I ever saw said they'd commit violence on a specific person in a realistic way. All of the bans were proactive it seems and based on an "abundance of caution" and to avoid any liability. Show me anything here not said as a joke or hyperbole. Jenna is claiming that people like Jackie will parse these joking threats and use them to claim this place endorses violence, it doesn't. These faggots should slap fight in a private chat and invite spectators. Jenna is clearly just trying to use that left appeal to authority thing here and is angry the authority is not motivated by his Karening.
