Pat’s Roommate: “Pat, I think we should spend some time apart and let things settle”

Pat, sobbing: “OK. If you think that’s best. I’ll miss you. Where will you be going?”

Pat’s Roommate: “oh….”

Pat, still sobbing: “Nyyyooo child! Nyyyyoooo, you have nothing to saaaayyyy *incoherent peanut butter mouth sobbing*”

Pat’s Roommate, scratching herself: “Oh and don’t make a lot of noise packing your other t-shirt, kay?”
BTW, I'm pregnant and leaving you for Laura Rich

I honestly just want to reach out to Pat right now. I don't even want to shove anything in his face. I just want to help him. I think I can too.
Now's probably not the right time. Or never.

I have questions though since I'm not a lawyer:

Patrick is still within the statute of limitations on this thing, and he can also appeal the judge's decision. Is there even going to be a hearing tomorrow to discuss any of this, or at least the decision?

And because the case is still within SoL: Is there a possibility that Bresto HIMSELF can launch his own case against us? Can lawyers do that? I imagine he wouldn't be able to pay himself, and he certainly has the conviction...we definitely went pretty hard on him, Nicole and Bresto's sister...

How else can this all turn around on us, legally speaking?
