''The band is known for their ethereal, limerent and often dream-like musical style, lyrics often based on the themes of romance and love, as well as Gonzalez's voice, which has been described as "androgynous"

John's listed as one of the session guitar players for the first 4 or so Mars Volta albums, but I remember reading an interview with Omar where he said the majority of the guitar on those is actually John. Omar was busy writing, arranging and producing the entire thing, so it was easier to have John learn and record the guitar.Funny you post this, i just listened to this through my daily Spotify recommendations list! That's wild!
SONGS FOR THE DEAFNot really that familair with Queens of the Stone Age. I only know the lead singer produced one of the the Arctic Monkeys albums. I've heard a lot about them. How would you describe them and where would i start with them?

Absolutely. They're great. Frances the Mute and Deloused in the Comatorium are classic albums.Never really listened to Mars Volta. They worth listening to. If John's heavily involved i guess they are,
