Right. It was obviously wrong but why don’t you have this energy for the victims of Islamic terrorism, or grooming gangs, or migrant rape victims, or the ones killing pets etc?

What I’ve done:

Read the Bible cover to cover in one translation, making my way through another
Created Bible study group at local hall that is growing steadily
Fixed all my family relationships to be on great terms with all of them
Care for family who need it
Obtained CS degree in my mid 20s after being a min wage slacker, did it alongside full time work and in the cheapest way possible
No debt, no student debt, no debt at all (leasing apartment now but pending buying property, so mortgage will be my only debt)
Live frugal, save money
Respectable enough career, money isn’t big but is enough
Learned German
Obtained Irish passport through father being born there
Above two means I can freely move to all of Europe and can speak at least one major language there
At least 50 push ups every morning, but gym when I can to maintain functional strength
Learned essential DIY skills, like maintaining car and simple plumber type jobs for the house
Learned simple woodworking
Read books all the time on broad range of interests
Haven’t watched porn in 2 years, never will again
Don’t simp for women anymore, finding high value cutie
Learned guitar to relax
Learned how to store food, where local water spring is, and how to clean water
Tapered off SSRIs
Learned first aid because company paid for it

To do list:
Get accredited in work stuff which will be valuable
Lose extra LBs (still better shape than 90% of Pat posters most likely)
Learn cursory Islamist knowledge like jizya

Honestly, man, everything is going according to plan. The Lord told us these days would come, and how difficult the Last Days would be. Remember - the war is won. The Lord wins in the end. Unfortunately, we do have to go through the battle ( the notion of the Rapture is rubbish not supported by Scripture).

Have faith in the Lord and be vigilant. It's almost over. I would be highly surprised, the way things are and the way things are going, if we have another 20 years left.

You’re right, I pray on this often, and when I feel comfortable enough with this group I’m in I’ll bring it there to discuss.

I can’t say I’m a Christian if I don’t love my enemy. I also shouldn’t just be a passive walk over throwing 2000 years of our history under the bus.

There's a LOT of things that the modern church clings to that aren't supported by Scripture. The Rapture is one of them, as is the concept of "once saved, always saved". You CAN lose your salvation, which is why it's important to maintain your relationship with The Lord through things like prayer.

It's why you so often see preachers and so-called "holy rollers" often caught up in scandals, almost always of a sexual nature. They believe that they have a eternal "Get Out of Hell - FREE" card and thus don't have to worry about things like temptation. They're above it, and even if they're not, hey - I'm saved, right? So God's got my back no matter what!

These maladies are not the root but the symptom of technology removing the natural hardships of life and in doing so removing the things which give life meaning. With the amelioration of most of the natural hardships of life comes a tendency towards the avoidance of any and all inconvenience, with this avoidance comes an aversion to things like nationalism or religion or family. People are not able to develop fully without understanding values that extend beyond tik-tok videos and doordash. Too much of a good thing became a bad thing.

You want to "do something"? Get people to abandon social media. Good luck with that.
