i think it might stick around. it’s the same company that owns facebook and instagram and they seem to understand that a lot of people just want a new twitter not owned by elon rather than something totally different on the fediverse or whatever. plus i think you can just sign up and you don’t need to be invited by a tranny like bluesky.

I think the two tiered system is the best solution.
Verified twitter where you only interact with other verified people with moderation tools to police your interactions/timeline, and the anything goes (except basic legal stuff) tier with unverified accounts and more free speech.
Obviously Patrick and all the LGBTQ atheist scum would use it because it’s better, more exciting and they can continue being perpetually victimised there - but it would really just highlight their mental illness better. Nobody forced you to use this etc.
