Whats your region? They implement premium features depending on country. I always had the ability to download videos on the standard YouTube app. When I went to Europe a few years back it removed all my stored videos and said that this was a premium feature. Lost all my in flight entertainment during the stupid layover. I guess they know nobody in jungle asia is going to pay for the feature so they don't block it. They'll probably do same with the adblocker. It's fucking depressing, i remember when YouTube first started playing ads and it was a real shitshow until adblocker made it's way around.

They all work the same way and shares the same filters, some filters block basic ads some blocks annoying shit like those cookies remainders, you just have to turn the ones that suits your needs on in the filter list. some site intentionally breaks when you visit it with an ad blocker, do you have to turn off 3 ad blockers just to visit those sites lol

Does anybody really have any idea how much they are supporting the musician when they buy an album? Isn’t it all done through contracts with the record company?
I’ve heard plenty of famous musicians complain they don’t get shit from things like Spotify either. But I’ve bought plenty of independent releases on Bandcamp, they actually tend to have more value than anything mass produced.
