you say that, but it's all adds up, you don't think kike CFOs adopted a subscription model for no reason?

Be a miser for fucking once NoBacon, beat the jews at their own game, that's what i do.

I refuse to adopt their le pay me gibs for everything financial models.

Works flawlessly

You install two apps. It also has SponsorBlock

I have absolutely no qualms paying for things I believe are value for money and reasonable. Spotify absolutely is reasonable.

I’d be tempted to get free audio books/e books/movies/sports though.

The convenience of Spotify is well worth the small price, you can find any music or podcast on a whim, it even does 15 hours a month free of audiobooks now.

I’m not getting some free torrent set up when it’s that convenient, it’s one of the few things I’m an unrepentant consoomer with.
It's just a good business model. Large amount of content, easily accessible and at low cost. It's why it managed to draw in people that something like iTunes couldn't. Same thing with Steam, it did way more damage to video game piracy than any hamfisted DRM policy ever could. People are more than willing to pay for a product if it's reasonably priced and you're not trying to jerk them around.

Piracy is still a bigger problem when it comes to film media and audiobooks because of exclusivity and greed. You need to pay for multiple streaming services if you want to get a wide selection of the shit people actually want to watch, and Audible makes you pay a subscription for the privilege of reading one fucking book a month. They're entrenched in dogshit practices (by design or by circumstance) which force any consumer who's got his head screwed on right to look for alternatives.

And they pay the artists next to nothing.
Arguably the vast majority of those artists are making more with Spotify than they ever would pre-internet. There's not enough radio stations or hours in the day to give them all a chance at exposure.

If they want to make good money they should get real jobs.

It's not sustainable in the long run. And they pay the artists next to nothing. Also only an idiot streams stuff without owning it. Why would you pay for something that isn't even yours? Just pirate it at that point.
I think that most decent artists have a core base of fans that will buy every cd and see them live. Past that it’s probably best to just angle for easy exposure.

I listen to a lot of music. I would have to take a day to download hundreds of albums from hundreds of artists just to get my library back to where it is. Also the entire problem of audio compression on youtube doesnt help
Cause you're lazy, this won't apply (ewww)

https://lkrjangid1.github.io/Awesome-Warez/ (there was another linklist I had but it's down I think)
here's a cracking site with a bunch of different links to find music/film/games etc.
What was that one app that was p2p for sharing music downloads? Starts with an "s" I think but can't remember? (irc of music)

They remove shit constantly too, I used to use the cracked spotify app and it was convenient but lackluster, no demos, no alternative takes, just the censored version of this song?
EEEFFFFFF YOUUUUUUU!
