Help me find an acoustic guitar

Thanks. So it looks like the player's got the 2-point. Any idea if the fit and finish are within (moderate) spitting distance? I know, diff. assembly lines, diff. QA depts.

Finish wise, the usa line will have better colors - looks like Performance models are using Gloss Urethane while the Players II's have a Gloss Polyester.



- this video sums it up rather nicely as well. Also - for what it is worth , I'd rather trust Mexicans to making my guitar than some lib shit dei hire at the USA plant but it can all be a coin toss.

Tho the big issue is it seems like the specs change almost every year so makes it harder for a 1 to 1 comparison

Ah, fuckit. Snagged a used but allegedly in great condition player. Thanks for the info (we're not entirely evil, Pat...)! Shit's like guns or camera gear. Although the latter is more forgiving, detail-wise.

Faaawk. Lots of people in here who know their shit. I’ll be a fag and not actually add anything new. I would recommend an electric if all you’re planning on is rhythm (makes sense for a bassist). Easier to play, and you can find some pretty decent electrics for cheaper than the same quality acoustics. From there, if you like playing guitar you can move on to nicer electrics and/or acoustics but acoustics are really only if you enjoy playing by yourself. One of the many reasons JoeH is a retard. He has a whole backing track but will then play a fucking acoustic because he can’t actually play the lead parts. What’s the fucking point? Oh yeah, he’s retarded.

Edit: If you want a mix of both worlds, Epiphone I would assume probably still makes some really great semi-acoustics. You’re welcome for adding pretty much nothing! LIBTARDS!!!!!

What’s with the rough shape brotherman? Missing knobs and pick ups. I know a guy in Long Island with some Elmer’s glue and duct tape….

lol - but I love the poor oscar.

Broke the pick up selector at some point so instead of replacing it, I just pulled the neck pickup out along with all the pots. Supposedly anything added in the wiring chain, like any potentiometers or resistors effect the signal so to get the best tone possible its set up to just run to 1 volume pot then straight to the output jack.

I'd start with acoustic to get the hand strength up. Once you're solid on it playing an electric is a breeze
