I want to get swole as fuck. I have the height and the breadth of shoulder that makes me seem like I should be buff, like a comic book artist's rendition of a Viking berserker, but I'm not. Im just a lanky faggot with no muscle. I've decided after some thinking that I would like to hire a personal trainer cause they know what Im looking for and how to help me attain it, so's I can get beefy before hitting my thirties. Does anyone here have any advice on how to find the best, who to avoid, price ranges ect ect? Im thinking I shouldnt hire a woman cause it might be awkward but I have this fantasy in my head of some hot lady training me across months, a slow but subtle romantic relationship developing (mirroring my slow physical transformation) between us like in a movie and after she sees my prodigious progress from a lanky faggot to a swole beef cake we wind up fucking at her place, so it's a admittedly an appealing option to go for the lady trainer.

I've got a friend who helps me with weights & has more benches & stuff than me, it's useful to plan something with someone else for motivation, otherwise I'll just work out at home in the mean time.

The hilarious fantasies of marrying your personal trainer waifu aside, why would anyone help when you have a "I can't be bothered, someone make me swole" attitude? Your PT isn't going to give you the motivation to lift heavy several times a week or eat & sleep properly. You either want it or you don't. You don't sound like you're serious about anything other than daydreaming about sniffing yoga pants.

The funniest thing about your female PT waifu fantasy is that on day 1 you will be unable to lift as much as she does. Your optimism, all your hopes and dreams will be dashed as you struggle with a 30kg bar pinning you down helplessly while she giggles.

If I were you and could afford it I would just do crossfit b/c you will learn the lifts and there are grills to talk to and there's less work to do re. routines etc. It works for a lot of people.

If you get a PT, get a man who can lift some decent numbers but isn't a roidtranny (important!) and just pay for a few sessions over a few months and space them out a bit so he can check your form etc.
