If we want to return to manufacturing it is gonna be a dismal couple of years, and a lot of people don't realize or want to realize it.
It might be easier if it was a long term project, but Trump's going for a shock therapy approach. It'll be interesting to see if it pays off.

Bidenflation did seem to be a major factor in people voting for Trump, so it's gonna be funny seeing the Joe Cumias trying to rationalize these reforms while they spent the last years braying for prices to go down at all costs.

You need to find more places for cheap manufacturing and then move the operations over. It wasn't going to continue being China anyway as even they were outsourcing lower cost manufacturing to places like Vietnam due to changing demographic and financial factors.

yeah but the administration wants to bring it back to the US which has a higher labor cost than all those nations. The cheap goods Americans have loved since the end of WWII would come to an end.
