I like how Pat and the SFWA faggots act like being published is somehow an accomplishment. Sure, in the 90s it was, but nowadays the bar has never been lower. Housewives self publish erotica on Amazon and have sales that put any drivel the SFWA publishes to shame.
Hell, I am getting a comic book published at the end of the month. It's going to be a regional thing, and unlike Pat I am not going to pretend that it's anything special. I'll make practically nothing from it, but I am going to be thrilled just to have a comic book with my name on it.
