I was reading something about a child with liver failure that's usually seen in alcoholics so yeah genetics play a part I think she's well into adulthood and hasn't needed to have a transplant yet but will do eventually. Meanwhile drunks are getting it because they couldn't behave

my friend b-lidge was drinking a handle of cheap vodka a day for years and he was almost 50 and he started puking up blood and was dead a day later of liver/kidney failure! the crazy thing is he didn't even know he was sick! i guess that's probably better than losing your mind like the smash mouth dude.
