Yeah I was about to ask the same thing. Liver failure at 50 is that like a bottle or more of straight liquor a day combined with bad genetics?

I was reading something about a child with liver failure that's usually seen in alcoholics so yeah genetics play a part I think she's well into adulthood and hasn't needed to have a transplant yet but will do eventually. Meanwhile drunks are getting it because they couldn't behave

How much do you have to drink to actually die of liver failure? Crazy that Nana and Lady Di are outliving this guy, but I guess the fat doesn't help.

my friend b-lidge was drinking a handle of cheap vodka a day for years and he was almost 50 and he started puking up blood and was dead a day later of liver/kidney failure! the crazy thing is he didn't even know he was sick! i guess that's probably better than losing your mind like the smash mouth dude.
