Marge sounds like Patty and Selma.
Homer is fucking annoying.
This show needs to just die already.

It's so sad.The woman who does Marge’s voice sounds like she’s about to die. Maybe she will have to die so they finally end the show. I don’t even know who their audience is, it’s not anyone who likes the great early seasons.
I went over my parents recently for dinner and there was a football game on Fox playing in the background and a commercial came out for a singing show, but you need to guess who the singer is related to.Network television is a scam. Think about all those singing shows, dancing with the stars, America’s got talent, those random NBC/CBS prime time drama shows - they all claim to have millions of viewers but I’ve never spoken to a single person who watches any of them. The Simpsons falls into the exact same category.
My go to reference is "Wheel of Fortune"...no way that shit makes them money in 2023, but they keep it on daytime tv anyway, same slot for 50+ years. Profit is not the main motive, there's something else to explain uncancelled stuff like the Simpsons, etc.Network television is a scam. The Masked Singer has been on for like ten years at this point.Network television is a scam. They keep these programs to keep people feeling comfortable because most people fear change and don't want lose connection to their past.My go to reference is "Wheel of Fortune"...no way that shit makes them money in 2023, but they keep it on daytime tv anyway, same slot for 50+ years. Wheel of Fortune is the stupid man’s Jeopardy so it probably does have a core audience of boomers who are too intimidated to watch jeopardy and/or jeopardy viewers who leave it running in the background as they dose off in their La-Z Boys. Plus I bet it’s cheap as fuck to make.My go to reference is "Wheel of Fortune"...no way that shit makes them money in 2023, but they keep it on daytime tv anyway, same slot for 50+ years. idk...Merv Griffin and Matt Groening both have fake ass names that start with M and G, idk.
I feel like what keeps most of these shows on are boomers - I don’t see young people under 30 excited to watch wheel of fortune or even the masked singer / dancing with the stars / Americas got talent etc.Wheel of Fortune is the stupid man’s Jeopardy so it probably does have a core audience of boomers who are too intimidated to watch jeopardy and/or jeopardy viewers who leave it running in the background as they dose off in their La-Z Boys. I’d say I watch about 10 minutes of Wheel of Fortune every 2 years, which is exponentially more than any of the other prime time shows.
That’s def the boomer block of tv, I can’t stand that Norah O’Donnell and I’ve heard she’s a pain the ass to work withI would figure that WoF still does alright since it airs right after jeopardy, which airs right after the news with that Norah O'Donnell bitch. You get the news and two classic game shows, and jeopardy has been great since Ken Jennings started hosting the show
That is def a gen X turning into their boomer parents show, I saw the other day Sebastian Bach of Skid Row was on and thought “does anybody under 35 even know who that is?”The Masked Singer has been on for like ten years at this point.
I’m just curious as to who is even watching it now, anyone who liked the classic seasons from years ago isn’t watching it now and I can’t see younger people getting into it. Then again it seems like there’s more cartoon shows for adults than kids which is weird. The only thing worse than people, erocks of the world, still watching a kids show is adults complaining it's shit. You were younger and dumber.
To be fair, that’s what happened due to the writers strike since those kind of shows don’t technically have writers. They were scrambling for anything to produce until the strike was over. ABC just said fuck it and put Monday night football on ABC as well as ESPN just to have Monday coveredI went over my parents recently for dinner and there was a football game on Fox playing in the background and a commercial came out for a singing show, but you need to guess who the singer is related to.
That's right.
Some faggot singing on stage, you gotta guess "hmmm...are you Michael Bubles....2nd cousin?" while the host fake laughs and the audience claps? All because it's not Michael Bubles 2nd cousin, but in fact is the singer is Yanni's brother.
