Hi Danny, I started listening to o&a in 2013. I started listening when you were already gone. I'm not sure how you got fired, but it's cool seeing you here. I remember back in the old o&a sub I replied to one of your comments. I'm not sure if you are on reddit at all, which that community is over now. The only thing left is the r/TACNs sub now.

Why hasn't he been able to do anything remotely good after the end of O&A?

I sometimes watch his podcast from time to time and it is absolutely horrendous. It is just him reading superchats. Also his youtube videos are embarrassing. If he isn't click baiting with O&A related stuff, he's either dancing in traffic or annoying people in public.

I am genuinely curious why he isn't putting any effort into the things he's doing.

Would you put the effort in if you were in your early sixties, had made tens of millions of dollars and had already made it to the top of the mountain?

Like him or not Opie will go down in history as the co-host of one of the greatest radio shows of all time. If I was in his spot I'd have no professional motivation either, he's pretty much done it all.

I think Ant might be bitter also that Opie didn't reunite with him at compound media and refused to do his own show on his network

Someone on YouTube has been releasing old Compound clips and Cumia actually touched on this back in 2015 or 2016 on TACS. You are correct in what you say, that is indeed why he's bitter.

To elaborate, pretty much what he said back then is that him and Opie had built this one of a kind hugely successful brand and that his hope when he got fired is that Jim and Opie would've gone into management and said "We'll go if you don't bring Anthony back". Anthony's thought was that Sirius XM would say yes but if they didn't then Opie and Jim should've jumped over to Compound because they'd built a hugely successful brand together once before and would've been able to do that with Compound or whatever it would've been named as well.

I ultimately think Compound would've been more successful if O&A was the flagship program in 2014 but I'm not so sure that O&A could've built up this massive national/international brand again. I guess we'll never truly know though.

The reason you got 50k was because you weren't worth more. No amount of "doing all the work" (,which was a combined effort of 30 minutes a day) entitles you to ants money but I'm sorry the free food and drinks weren't to your liking.
