In his defense, if my life was the uneventful horror show that his was, I would probably seek solace in as many make believe worlds as he does. However, you'd think that an emotionally and psychologically arrested manchild like him would at least be playful and somewhat fun to be around, rather than the grim, joyless (fat) cunt he is.

Not just Spielberg - nearly everyone who worked on it regretted that film. Hoffman, Hoskins, Roberts, even Robin Williams wasn't happy with it.

I saw it once in TV during a hotel stay, and as someone who admires what Spielberg can do with the most limited and limitless concepts - I loved "Duel" - this movie is terrible. Stale, forced, plodding, and just doesn't work. Not a terrible concept, just weak execution.

I'm not sure if I hate this or A.I. more.

But, it proves the point about Patrick more than most do: this generation of "men" is so devoid of masculinity, introspection and integrity that they never left childhood. Bunch of pussies.
Hold up----!!!
...you didn't know Phil Collins had a bit part in this movie? 🤔🤔🤔

Why the Fuck would I know? Tony and Mike never discussed his movie parts, except for one of them with a drunken, throwaway insult after a bad encore in Italy that I will take to my grave out of respect.

I never met the man, but in all seriousness, I hear he's quite kind and humble. I'll joke about him but I don't dislike him - and obviously I don't follow his movie career.

You couldn't pay me to watch "Buster".

Ideally, Pat should be watching this childs movie with his Annabelle, sharing a bowl of popcorn like a hack happy family. In reality though, he's a 41 year old alcoholic pig man sat watching it by himself on his fart weathered couch, crying and cheering in all the right places.
I really like the idea of a fart weathered couch. Like, the leather is faded in a blast like pattern in one area exclusively. Honestly, I’m surprised my recliner doesn’t have that too

It’s a terrible mess of a movie but a few years back it became a very hipster-Twitter thing to suddenly pretend it’s amazing and insist it needs reevaluating.

I’m sure that has nothing to do with Pat’s position here though. He never panders to the latest trends.
