$1300 a year for someone who barely had roles is insane. That list doesn’t even include Friends. It’s pathetic that it doesn’t even cover a month of living since he lives in California. But if he had a real job and acted as a side gig, like a lot of actors, that’d be free cash he could put in the stock market.

But I would’ve assumed he didn’t get anything from Nick since it was cable and non union, so he’s actually doing better than I thought.

He's admitted he's on all sorts of public assistance. He's below the poverty line. I assume there is a long waitlist for Section 8, so he's still got to grind to pay for that shed. It's why he'll never move out of California, despite all his whining; no where else are the gibs as good.

His residual money is a lot more than I expected, but also highlights how he wasted his life. If he could have grinded it out and gotten more roles, he could be earning close to a middle class income just from residuals. His IMDb list used to be busy, so at some point he preferred staying up all night edging to porn to going out to auditions.

Also getting unemployment is common in tv/film
Work for dopes like him. I worked in TV years ago and going on “hiatus” (unpaid vacation) was part of the job and you were told to collect unemployment until your next gig. That’s why I quit working in that industry - you’re always looking for your next gig and nothing is stable.

I saw a video recently how with Nickelodeon the top billed (stars) of the show didn’t get residuals (they got paid up front) but the supporting people did and still do so I guess Donkey got lucky there. The kids now adults that did the Nick show “Neds Declassified School Survivor Guide” do a podcast now and cry that nobody is hiring them and they don’t get residuals.

It must depend on where the show was filmed. Nick shows were either shot in Florida or California or licensed from Canada. Then you have to factor how the Jews decide these things.
