This is the second time that I've seen him use his appearances in "national media" as a cope for Josiah - I think the first was after the Daily Beast article.
It's an amazing look into his diseased brain - because he got subsequent media attention, he was not gullible or stupid in divulging his secrets to a stalkerchild because it was inevitable that a national publication would be interested, and he knew this of course. In fact, it just proves that Josiah was the gullible one for thinking Pat wouldn't get that same coverage. TittyRicky absolutely cannot deal with criticism or second guessing - not even internally. He's a once in a generation specimen and I thank Vishnu that he found Twitter.
