The current house came with some modern electric (no gas here if I wanted it) and I fucking hate it. How he fuck do you control temp on the fly? Had gas in the previous, which I learned to love. I've pretty much given up on frying stuff as it feels like a gazillion minutes to heat up, and then no way of getting ahead of spikes and dips.

Oh, and I clean my cooktop and backsplash.
