While it's fun to imagine rick as a failure at everything, I really can see him doing well as a salesman or middle management type. I guess that's not mutually exclusive with being a horrible failure of a person, but at least there's an okay salary.

Kinda sucks that being a writer became his identity because he fails at the core fundamentals of it, and that's without even picking apart how shit he is at the english language in general.
